We need YOU to support student success!
When you support the Wade Edwards Foundation and Learning Lab, you’re saying “yes” to honoring the legacy of Wade Edwards by helping to fulfill our mission: providing the student community with opportunities for achievement, enrichment and service.
The Wade Edwards Foundation and Learning Lab is dedicated to motivating, serving and rewarding high school students throughout Wake County. Established in 1996 to memorialize the life and spirit of Wade Edwards, the Foundation supports activities that honor the qualities of determination, responsibility, and charity and that encourage all students to strive for excellence.
With the support of donors like you, the Wade Edwards Foundation and Learning Lab can deliver these programs free or at little cost – keeping after school and other education opportunities accessible to all members of our community.
Year End Appeal 2013
Coming to the WELL is important to our students. Khadija, a junior, has been coming to the WELL for three years. She comes after school for a variety of reasons: it’s close by, she can do her homework and get help when needed, and she can have fun with her peers in a safe environment. Khadija is also a member of the WELL Service warriors, a student group which completes projects for volunteer hours. “Overall, if it wasn’t for the WELL bring so close to my school and their staff being so helpful and positive, I don’t think my grades would be where they are now.“
