LEAP (Life Expectations and Planning) is a workshop series to help you transition from high school senior to young adult. Whether you’re planning for college, military or career, LEAP will help you prepare.
LEAP is a bi-weekly program that meets from 3:15 – 4:30 p.m. at the WELL on the 1st and mentors 3rd Mondays of every month. Participants will work with staff to ensure students meet deadlines, file paperwork and are prepared for their post-secondary plans. The program includes many outside speakers as well as field trips. Students will be assigned a mentor for support as well.
LEAP is for high-school seniors only, especially those that may be 1st generation college students or those who are uncertain about the post-graduation plans. Limited to 25 participants.

Important dates for all high-school seniors and family members:
October TBA – The WELL will host a FAFSA day at the WELL. Staff and other community partners will be available that evening to help you fill out the all-important FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Bring your paperwork and your questions. Use the computers in our lab from 4 – 7:30 p.m.
